Quit name calling; it is the last resort of the ignorant.
I didn't call you a name. I called people who don't like the laws followed and since you said that you like the laws followed then you were not called a name. Stop blaming. BTW, he is doing the job that people want or he wouldn't be voted back into office as he is. I guess that others don't agree with you, thankfully.

The problem is that I don't think any president, be it Republican or Democrat, would have the balls to appoint him to that position. And that's a real shame.

No!

Homeland security is anti-constitutional and therefore anti-American.

This sheriff sounds like he would enforce bad law just because its on the books.

IT'S THE LAW!

When I was young, I used to think that the best way to get rid of bad law would be to enforce the f**k out of it forcing it to be changed.

I haven't seen any examples of that working.

The laws regarding illegal immigration are not "bad laws" - not by any stretch

And yes, this Sheriff vigorously enforces the law relating to illegal immigration

Yeah, well that I like.

But with the Patriot Act, would he support the Constitution or Political Law?

I don't agree with many of the actions taken by Arpaio, but it is nice to see someone calling Sharpton out.

How could anyone not agree with Arpaio? God forbid this fine upstanding sheriff do his job of enforcing the law. Liberals are like Atheists. It's not a matter of being reverant or not. They just simply refuse to be held accountable by anyone, anywhere, for anything they do.

I don't think a legal degree is spedified as a requirement to hold the post of AG...but I might be wrong. And I'm pretty sure it is also not specified in the US Constitution that justices have a law degree to serve on the US Supreme Court.
