I thought this was quite telling...

Quote:
I don’t think the slow start to the hurricane season can be pointed to as an erosion of the claims of global warming or hurricane activity. Likewise, I don’t think a single especially active hurricane year is highly supportive of these claims. ... Anyone can claim anything in this debate — fact is, there is no way to prove or disprove any of it.
Now, if we could just get people to realize that Climate Science is a relatively new field (compared to many other more traditional fields). It is filled with claims one way and another and yet none of them are sure of anything. Most of their methodology is based on assumptions that are constantly turned on their head when observational data comes about.

Hopefully people will eventually realize this and we can cut the legs out of the political agendas who are pushing it to instate wild policy.

Staying informed means keeping abreast of studies and reports from every angle. The OP only posts and proliferates biased and limited info based on what he chooses to believe. I still think it is a fetish.

Really now...

I can post an article that says something quite different than what you are saying.

LA Times: Bush-era EPA document on climate change released

The Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday released a long-suppressed report by George W. Bush administration officials who had concluded -- based on science -- that the government should begin regulating greenhouse gas emissions because global warming posed serious risks to the country.

During El Nino years we don't get many hurricanes in the Atlantic, but they got a whooping 32 cyclones/typhoons in the Pacific this year. I don't know if you follow the news from that area, but there were quite a few casualties, especially in the Phillippines.
