He'll get to it. But we have bigger problems right now. Budget deficits are not that bad, and are much further down the list of priorities.
That's why the teabaggers were so silly.
We can't even afford our own government and have to finance our wars and social spending by borrowing from other countries and you don't find this a cause of concern? Wow.
I am sure that he will get around to it. No big deal that we are burdening future generations with debt created by fiscal irresponsibility. Nothing like intergenerational slavery.

Well, I do find your lack of ability to read a concern. Where did I say what you accuse me of? I said it was a problem, only down the list. We have had debt-to-GDP ratios much, much higher, and gotten over them quickly - i.e., without burdening future generations.
You all need to gain a sense of proportion here.
More to the point - if you had spoken up when Bush was sending us into debt by wasting money invading other countries, you'd have some credibility. As it is, not so much.
only on City Data would the blowhard FAUX fans drive this subject to 8 pages! I saw his live Town Hall meeting (how refreshing to have a President who doesn't hide when chit hits the fan) and found it funny how he blew off the "tea baggers!"

I can read fine, so take your condescending attitude to another thread. You find that Obama's potentially unsustainable deficit spending a minor concern that he will work out down the future while I show more concern.

We also practiced a failed "guns and butter" policy in the past with a working economy. Our government and many Americans are living beyond our means and therefore we have to go to China and Japan to get money to finance our military excursions and social spending sprees.

If China stops lending, then the hole becomes deeper. And there is growing concern among the Chinese that we are not credible. If we cannot pay back our debt, then say hello to inflation, loss of financial credibility in the world, and potential rejection of the dollar.

Except this is what you said:

So as soon as you can be an honest person, I'll stop being condescending towards you.
Yes, I can see why you're upset. America is fortunate to not have suffered under such poor leadership in recent years.
Can I assume you thought Bush was a complete idiot, and joke? If so, why do you seem to think comparison the that boob somehow gives 0bama a pass? My, my, my, the bar sure got lowered in only 100 days.

I said that because you said: "Budget deficits are not that bad". Our deficit/gdp is at 9.2% (more than 3 times higher for membership into the EU) and there is valid concern that we are on an unsustainable trajectory.
So, if you are looking for dishonesty, then look into the mirror.
