FreedomWorks Foundation's 2009 Taxpayer Revolt

Tell Congress to Stop Bankrupting our Country!

This week the Senate is debating the $410 billion omnibus spending bill that passed the House last week. With the federal government already throwing trillions of dollars around to bail out banks and irresponsible homeowners, and to pass a so-called "stimulus" bill, you would think that they couldn't possibly spend more. But that is clearly not the case.

Liberals in Congress are pushing for a massive, pork-laden omnibus bill that would add to the deficit and waste more taxpayer dollars on things like $245 million for groups like ACORN! House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) has rightly called on taxpayers to jam the Senate phone lines this week to stop the omnibus bill from passing. Already, Democrat Senators Russ Feingold and Evan Bayh have said that they will vote against the bill. We need to encourage more Senators to follow their lead and reject this massive, wasteful government spending bill that is only pushing us further toward bankruptcy.

Take Action Now by calling your Senators and urging them to vote against the $410 billion omnibus! We are especially focusing on getting calls into the following Senators:

Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) ----------------He is probably not reliable anymore.
866-960-8136 and 866-957-9058

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME)

The Tax Revolt Continues

As you may have heard, taxpayers are revolting across the country, organizing "taxpayer tea parties" in more than 100 cities and towns. FreedomWorks has been organizing many of these "tea parties" and we are listing the details on our website IamWithRick.com

If you visit the website, you can rsvp for an event near you, and you can download guidelines to organizing a tea party in your home town if there isn't one being planned already.

Together we can send a shock wave through the country, with thousands of people in the streets, outside post offices, county courthouses and state capitol buildings. If we move together as one force, we can educate the public about what is happening to our country, and we can identify thousands of people who may want to get involved in FreedomWorks.

But we need your help to organize these tea parties across the nation. Please visit IamWithRick.com today and find out how you can organize one of the hundreds of tea parties taking place around the country.

Sincerely,

Dick Armey
Chairman

Here's a clue.

Obama and the Dems are enjoying their highest approval ratings AFTER your "Tea Parties" took place on Tax Day.

You sore right wing losers who are rapidly seeing your political party of choice swirl down the toilet.

Stop wasting your time and go out and actually research what are the best policies for your family.

Hint: Turn of the AM radio you will not find the answers there.

I don't know where you got your facts on "Obama and the Dems are enjoying their highest approval ratings after the tea parties" because most recent polls showing his approval significantly lower from the 70%+ approval ratings he was enjoying just past his inauguration. Most polls put his approval at 60%, but his disapproval numbers are gradually growing day-by-day. I think the latest poll I read puts it at 32% with 8% undecided or in the middle.

Rasmussen also just released their lattest congressional ballot which had the GOP favored by 1% point.

The truth is that for the average working family most GOP solutions are best for them, whether it be education, national security, economic, tax policy, etc.

GOP Solution on Education...
Tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations.

GOP Solution on National Security...
Tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations.

GOP Solution on Economics...
Tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations.

GOP Solution on Tax Policy...
Tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations.

GOP Backup Plan (in case any of the others don't work)...
Bigger tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations.

His approval ratings have remained steady, not significantly lower.
