this has always bothered me. I have some far left extremist friends who are pro choice, and pro smoking and trans fat bans. I am pro choice to an extent. I think I have a problem with late term abortions, but early term stuff doesn't bother me. if you belive in the right of the individual, then how can you be pro choice and pro smoking bans? if we have the right to choose, we can choose to eat and hang out at non smoking or smoking places right? also, I believe in financial abortion. the woman has a say over her body, the man should have the say over his money. any thoughts? I know this is kind of two topics all wrapped up into one, but whatever.

I notice individuals on the far left choose to ignore things like this. we either have the right to choose, or we do not right?

Even further, how do people support ones right to choose to have an abortion, pretty much killing someone else, but they do not support ones right to choose to end their lives once they leave the womb, i.e. when they get old and want to end their own lives due to illness.

Well, family courts are technically supposed to decide matters like child support payments based on "the best interests of the child." It really doesn't matter, legally, how the child came into being.

Because smoking pollutes the air that non smokers breathe. A pro choice person having an abortion does nothing to an anti-choice person's health or well being.

so the non smoker is so ignorant, that they can't make their own decisions on where to eat? I am not saying everywhere should allow smoking, I am saying, there should never be a government ban.

"Americans".. (see topic of thread)

Its illegal in the US to committ suicide, regardless of the intent. If its legal to kill an infant, then why isnt it legal to committ suicide.
