I don't think Gingrich vs Steele would be a fair match. Newt has got him on weight and speed.

How about if we handicap Newt by making him fight with all his ex-wives strapped to his back?

Or do you think that would be too much baggage for him to be taken as a serious contender for head of the "Family Values" party?

Give them both a pistol and let them walk 10 paces and turn around and shoot each other.

I'm not sure either of them could hit the other even if they figured out how to get the safety off. Neither one, as far as I know, has ever used a firearm, and neither one served in the military. I was thinking more about giving each of them a gym sock full of BS and letting them pommel each other until one hollers "Uncle!"...

Oh...wait...they're doing that already.

Phooey. Now we need a plan "B".

I think Gingrich has the odds on edge. He is a more practiced liar than steele.

Steele's got Newt beat bigtime on "reach" and that will be hilarious when Steele starts to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee with the old rope-a-dope routine. Poor old pale Newt's gonna look like a picked chicken in those boxing shorts....the ones with the suspenders to hold them up over his fat belly.

I wish both these guys would go away.

There is something oddly ineffectual about Steele. Now, I don't know the man personally, maybe he is a genius behind the scenes at cutting deals and getting things done, but on camera he never quites seems to be in command. Newt on the other hand, is still an old tiger, but women despise the man. He doesn't have a prayer going up against Obama in 2012, no matter how much Obama screws up. And if he does get nominated it's just going to be Dole/McCain all over again, shutting down a new generation of leaders for another election cycle.

Will Vegas have a betting line on this?

Will Newt have to move down in weight class?

Will firearms be compulsory?

Will it be on PPV or basic cable?

And the most important question is; Which side will Michelle ("you da man, Michael Steele, you da man") Bachmann weigh in on?

I can hardly wait.

I thought Rush was our leader?
