I wonder where all the liberals trumpeting the Republican party is dead were at when Reagan was kicking their arses. He firmly routed them out of office twice, but it was only 4 years after he left that the Dems were back in the White House. Balance of power shifts back and forth, usually because the far end of either party wears out the moderates who supported them to the point that they switch back. It will happen to the Dems again soon.

All I wish is that we could have a Republican House and a Democratic senate so that nothing ever got done. A deadlocked DC is the best thing for America IMO.
