Does First Lady Michelle Obama represent the poor or rich of America

The First Lady could feed quite a few people with what she paid for the sneakers she's wearing

First Lady Michelle Obama steps out in Lanvin sneakers and they're only $540!

While volunteering Wednesday at a D.C. food bank, the First Lady sported her usual J.Crew cardigan, a pair of utilitarian capri pants and, on her feet, a sneaky splurge: trainers that go for $540.

Do you expect the first lady to be dressed in a sweatshirt from Tj Maxx? Or even Abercrombie and Fitch.

At least she doesn't dress as prudish as the Bush Lady did.

U know, I don't remember anyone being this hard on Laura Bush.

I do remember them being this hard on Nancy Reagan.

Why should Michelle represent rich or poor people....she represents America.

The Obama's got to where they did because they are intelligent, and they work hard. I thought the reward for that was, hopefully, making a lot of money. Isn't that what the repubs always say? They have money. I don't begrudge them that because they worked for it, and they seem like nice people. The same people who criticize Michelle for her shoes would criticize her if she under dressed, too. There is no making you people happy.
