With the exodus of those leaving the Republican party coupled with people like Limbaugh asking others to leave [McCain & daughter], what keeps those who stay? When Clinton was having his affairs & carelessly distracting the nation to his gonads, I was furious with him. Not because he was having affairs but that he would be so stupid & hurt the country & the Democratic party. Likewise, when the Dems refused to confront President Bush at the start of the war & as well as years of losses & war chaos. I demanded that my senators take action yet they claimed it was not the time to stop the war!

Anyway, a reasonable person questions government & political parties & calls them out when they fail or lack gumption. Intellectual heavy-weights like Brooks\ Noonan\ Buckley family\ Reagan family\ Ford family, mayor Bloomberg, etc have left the GOP while shaking their heads.

If a person doesn't respect the above deserters as appropriate voices of the Republican party then who can they trust? Why would anyone stay? What do they want? Are they capable to convincing America to vote Republican?

Pollster.com: 2010 National Congressional Ballot

This is pollster...an average of all polls.

It shows support for the GOP congressionally in 2010 is increasing and almost as many Americans plan to vote for Republicans as for Democrats.

You are not addressing the questions. If all you want to do is echo desperate polls than you are proving that rational thinking is absent. Have you no doubts\ concerns? Or just content to deny what is happening every day? Do you honestly believe that the Republican party can win anything next year?

The Republicans snatched Congress away from Clinton in 1994, against all odds. I believe you are in for a rude awakening in 2010 .

CLICK THE LINK!

We have just as much of a chance as Democrats do in 2010...if the poll is accurate!

This is an AVERAGE of all polls - meaning the biases cancel each other out!

Independence [don't state any party] and vote for who you honestly believe can be trusted. Those fleeing the GOP aren't necessarily jumping into the Democratic party. Some left a year ago & followed Ron Paul [and can only wish more Republicans would go Libertarian & get out of that knee-jerk emotional sunday school].

Just believing something doesn't mean it will come true. How do you deal with a senator leaving & another one urged to get out? Two very powerful & long-term senators being treated like this? It really is outrageous. It would be like if Democrats told Kennedy to leave the party. If you aren't concerned than you are totally missing the train barreling down the track. How many have to leave before you wonder what's going on?

Didn't the Democrats try and kick Lieberman out because he was not true to the Democratic ideology? That is a rhetorical questions by the way....
