Sorry but, I disagree with your assessment. Nor to I know any clerics who would preach as you do against makeup or earrings.

Again, the fact that Ms. California did, or did not, have Breast augmentation is no ones business IMO

Like all religious people, you pick and choose which parts you want to follow, then ignore the rest. It's nothing new.

SO I guess its OK to be honest and open about other peoples problems but she can't even admit she had breast implants.

She is a fraud.
I don't believe the judges asked about contestant boobs during the contest.

Had it come up, then you could debate the honesty of her response.

Christian Fundamentalist Churches preach against makeup, jewelry and hair among other doctrines for women. The United Apostolic Church for one, promotes that a woman's hair is never to be cut, women must not wear pants, jewelry or makeup.
The pageant paid for her implants.

According to Shanna Moakler, co-executive director of Miss California USA, the group behind the pageant paid for Miss California Carrie Prejean's breast implants, just weeks before the competition.

so we should not shave, get your hair cut, wear burlap bags, and smell.

And I dated an Apostolic girl before so I've seen the influence these teachings can have on people's lives.

And I stand corrected about clerics - I was unaware of the churches you mentioned preaching against makeup etc. However, I doubt seriously she is a member of one of those churches (although I cannot be certain) - and as such, I don't feel she is a "hypocrite" as someone else referred to her because of her make up etc.

This whole thing about Miss California and what she said about marriage is all much ado about nothing. She can say what she wants and she doesn't have to justify or explain her breast implants.

She has a right to her opinion like the rest of us and, having implants is practically a must in the pageant world. I was just contributing to the conversation. The press should just drop it now.
