As a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for 10 years (the longest continuous period of service in the committee's history) including two years as the Ranking Democrat, Pelosi worked to ensure that policymakers and military commanders are provided with the timely and accurate intelligence necessary to guide diplomatic initiatives, succeed in combat, and protect U.S. military forces.
Biography :: Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, California, 8th District (http://www.house.gov/pelosi/biography/bio.html - broken link)

So either shes incompetent or she's not doing her job.

Hello, hello, anyone home? Pelosi is the one in the catbird seat, and Bush/Cheney aren't in politics, active, anyway. Hello? Hello? Ah, a locked door, and a locked mind, eh, Dukey? And what the hell do "sediments" have to do with all this?

Actually, it was Wanda Sykes, who has more than her share of canine genes, physiognomically speaking.

Uh-oh.

Panetta calls out Nan.

TheHill.com - CIA director says Pelosi received the truth

Quote:
Panetta, President Obama's pick to run the clandestine agency and President Clinton's former chief of staff, wrote in a memo to CIA employees Friday that "CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing 'the enhanced techniques that had been employed,'" according to CIA records.
Reminder; this is obama's man. I think they have calculated that Nancy is a liability. Under the bus she goes!!

Default Giving the Byrd to Pelosi

OK, time to play Devil's Advocate...

Let's imagine Pelosi did decide to resign. Next in line for House Speaker is Robert Byrd. Robert C. Byrd (D-W.Va.) - Who Runs Gov - Government directory

What do you think he would be like as Speaker of the House?

Any of you catch on the endangering our country and spitting on our men and women of service / national security / intelligence angle... That means a lot more to me than an affair Newt had back when... It even means more to me than that slob Kennedy's adulterous, drunken murder. How far back do you want to go to deflect from the corrupt issue at hand???
