Here's the way I understand it (Foxnews won't tell you this) because I worked for a company that had 1/2 of its employees in India and Argentina.
They set the company in a way that they get the best of both sides:
- American privilege to not pay tariffs
- Cheap labor from India/China
- Low taxes in the Caribbean
So they want to have the privilege of selling their products in the US by saying that the are "American companies"
but when it comes to paying taxes ... they are not American anymore.
If it wasn't for those EVIL corporations you would be without a home or a job, so show a little grattitude. It never ceases to amaze me the level of hostility directed to those who provide people with employment. Obviously the product of one too many Captain Planet cartoons as a youth.

The problem is that the people in America are not the one's working for these corporations. They are not employing anyone from over here, so what gratitude should, we as Americans show them?
The employees they do have in India or China do not make as much money as say, you or I would, if the company was still on American soil.
This means that they can pay a smaller salary and still get their products produced.

I'm willing to bet these are not small businesses doing this (the 'engine' of the economy). Small business provides my income (home, job, etc), for one example.
The corporations taking advantage of these tax havens are simply wrong, and I don't understand anyone who defends these actions. Crazy ****.
Unless you work for one of these companies or their PR firms.
Then at least it makes sense why you'd defend them.
I hope you have never complained about the poor paying little or no taxes.
A corporation paying no taxes is far worse.

That is ridiculous!
100% Foolishness!
These corporation made Billions of dollars prior to D day 10/08 to Present day repair in the works.
The Conservatives are dead wrong! The profits were plentiful, but the corporations laid off people because of the bottom line.
They will not increase there revenue based on the economy. Guess who pays for that? Me, you and the other 90% making under $200,000 per year.
Tax the hell out of them! Do not give them any discounts on their taxes.
But still you want to call my views socialist! Tell my neighbor who lost her job that, while you play golf with your buddy this weekend.
This is one of the reasons why I favor small government and low taxes; it will reduce tax cheats--from individuals to corporations.
I am not validating their behavior, but it is apart of human nature which is pervasive throughout society. Its no different that fudging your taxes or not claiming all your tips. The only thing that is different is the degree of behavior.
