A Wisconsin woman believes her husband sleepwalked into a river and drowned after taking sleeping pills, WLUK-TV FOX 11 reported.

Cherie Merkes said her husband went to bed early on Friday because he wasn't feeling well, and when she woke up Saturday morning, he was nowhere to be found.

So at this point she's still guessing.

What does she look like? Maybe he wanted a way out and this is the perfect escape...

it is possible, ambein the infamous nite time med that gets you more of a good nites sleep, my mother did do several odd things when on this med and then we determined it was her that was cleaning house, moving things, then wigging out over all of our findings in the am. yes it can happen. i would greet my mother in the am, i would walk in a room, see something moved, and say that chair looks great there, then her reply would bo when did you move it there. all sorts of strange things happening at home. me daughter was on it and stopped taking it for the same reasons.

Oh Ambien.

My friend would take ambien, and I would know every time. He would start sending me hilarious although hateful texts like "youre the worst friend ever" totally unprovoked, and woudl send it to many other people. And would usually have no idea about it.

I know a doctor who would cook and eat seven course meals after taknig Ambien and would wake up to discover the kitchen a mess and remembered nothing. He gained about 25 lbs before stopping Ambien.

I miss all the fun - I took it four times, slept like a baby twice, the thurd and fourth times it didn't affect me at all, I was up all night.

I use ambien occasionally. Once I did not go to bed immediately after taking it but stayed up to watch a video and ended up leaving a weird comment on my daughters FB account. I don't remember doing it and I rarely use FB for anything so I don't know what the heck happened. Now if I use a sleep aid I go to bed immediately.

In before the "The source is FOX so it MUST be a lie!" crowd.

Wait... this isn't a political story, so they won't question it at all...

Going to bed immediately is recommended for Ambien and Lunesta. I don't use sleep aids that cause wonky things like Ambien does but I'm in bed about 20 minutes after I take something.
