Really? Where? I don't want to see Obama fail, seriously, I don't care what side he is from, I seriously hope he DOES a good job. Unlike Dems who would want to see a Republican Pres fail. Republicans just want a good job done regardless, that's how we roll..more action, less whine

To me, the U.S. is reduced to a collective of states with a centralized government, a government that has lost its principle and meaning. And far too centralized. The only thing that government represents to me today is a passport, and yes, I do have one.

[quote=Dukester;8681288][quote]In most of the country, the 9 out of 10 people love America. But in the South, less than two-thirds would disapprove of their state leaving the US. And sure, while the "approve" contingent in the South is just 8 percent, 29 percent aren't sure.

This is objective evidence that Democrats love America more than anyone else. 95 percent of them want their states to remain as part of the union, while only 63 percent -- less than two-thirds -- of Republicans similarly love their country.

They are far, far more loyal to their cabal than they are to America - which is why they think nothing of dividing, diminishing, disrespecting, shredding, and looting the Constitution, the nation, and her people.
Learn to think for yourself or do you believe everything read?

In the darkest day of the Party of Evil and GW Bush, I never once even thought about putting down my country or ever folding my flag. My father bled for this country. He was not a perfect man or father but I remember us kids at his bedside during one of his many trips to the VA.
That is why I, as a liberal, will always love this country and honour that flag and the country it stands for- everything else be damned including politics. And if anybody on any end of the political spectrum doesn't like it here, they can damn well find the door out!
On this residence that flag has flown over Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush II and now Obama. And it will fly here no matter who is in the White House or what the economy is.
God bless this wonderful land we call America!

a. Its from the Daily Kos

b. One poll is of Texas voters only. Their state tourism motto is "A whole other country". Was once an independent country, remember? Part of the local lore.

c. Its from the Daily Kos

d. Remeber all those "not my President" shirts liberals wore during the bush years - same sentiment .

e. Its from the Daily Kos

I've seen enough of this thread with the opening post; sayonara.

To the OP: common decency forbids me from telling you where you can put the daily kos diaries, but I suspect it would be a loose fit anyway.
