A majority of Americans, in a poll released Wednesday, say it "makes sense to tax and regulate" marijuana. The Zogby poll, commissioned by the conservative-leaning O'Leary Report, surveyed 3,937 voters and found 52 percent in favor of legalization. Only 37 percent opposed.

lets see---- huffington post and the zogby poll (a popular paper for dope rolling zog)
asserting 52% approval indicates avalanche approval for legal dope addiction. i dont think so.

Dope addiction? The poll didn't even mention heroin and I doubt a majority of Americans are in favor of legalizing heroin. The poll was about pot not dope. Not to mention that marijuana, UNLIKE heroin, crack, and meth, is non-addictive.

Legalizing pot would end the recession.

Not sure about that. It would certainly free up hundreds of billions of dollars, make our country safer, and provide another tax revenue.

I can't think of one reason it shouldn't be legalized.

More tax revenues, more jobs created in the US, more money for US farmers (as the Single Convention Treaty, which is erroneously thought to bar legalization of marijuana, only bars its importation and exportation not domestic growing and sales of domestically grown pot), less money spent on prisons (the budget crisis of California would be eased tremendously), etc. and the entire economy would benefit. Less unemployment and more economic growth.

You are lying. Potheads are losers. Users are losers. Do hugs, not drugs.
