This morning da King of the blog, All the King's Men, came out with some proof about how they do lean and which direction. To save people from having to separate all his words from those of his commenters I will just put on all his words with the links he provided. Too much bandwidth but I don't know how else to do this.

In 2004, MSNBC looked at political contributions from journalists. Of 143 who made campaign contributions, 125 gave to Dems, and only 16 gave to Repubs.
It isn't anything new either. See if any of this has a familiar ring to it.

Is it true that you don't know why Media Matters came into being and what their purpose is? It seems that you want to ignore all that, but that is ok because so many of the left do that.
MSM is so invested in the Obama presidency that if he fails then the media will have there creditency threatened. It doesn't matter what Obama says or does the media will put a positive spin on it.
