Alright. I never meant that what anyone else does repulses me - I simply meant that the thought of me doing it is repulsive.

Many (not all) heterosexuals can't wrap their heads around the visuals we get when we imagine gay and lesbian sex. That's where the "icky" feelings come in. And I think it's totally okay to have those feelings...just as you described your feelings (so eloquently above)
It's a good thing this board censors certain words; otherwise I might be a lot more "eloquent" with my words.

I know, and believe me, I do understand what you're saying. And honestly, I get mad too when I see the behavior and opinions of some gay guys who think that they should be able to flaunt their homosexuality (gawd, I sound like a conservative!). If anything, try to feel sorry for them. I know that might sound crazy, but I think what they're doing is reverse psychology on themselves. They feel like the world is so biased against them that they need to be even "gayer" in order to combat what they see as a homophobic world. They don't know how to fit in normally, so they just decide that they're going to be clowns. (Perez Hilton comes to mind. Also Richard Simmons. ) And society encourages it in many ways. Look at "Jack" from Will and Grace. A lot of people have an easier time dealing with homos if they can just see them as these funny, flamboyant little characters.
You mean when he was calling people perverse, a generation of vipers, hypocrites, etc., He being all loving. Sounds pretty damning and judgmental to me.
Now I always read that story as Jesus getting pissed off with people who were judgemental, hypocritical and intolerant and hateful towards others. Hmmm who does that sound like?

Nah, I can handle it. I try to keep in mind that this is just a message board that's open to everybody in the world. That's one of the reasons I like it. I think it offers a pretty good representation of the opinions that regular people have about things like this.

It's just a message board yes, but I'm sure you have to (or have had to in the past) deal with a bunch of this same crap in real life as well. You shouldn't/shouldn't have.

True. A lot of gay men have told me that too. It's also ironic that many heterosexual men seem to be obsessed with anal sex- if all the straight porn sites are a guide. And doing it with young teenage virgin schoolgirls...often with a "rape" theme. Go figure.
