That's is essentially what has happened when Dick Cheney spoke on Face the Nation. Here's an excerpt from the CNN story (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/05/10/cheney-powell-no-longer-a-republican/ - broken link): "My take on it was Colin had already left the party," Cheney said. "I didn't know he was still a Republican."

There it is folks, Cheney declares Powell is out of the party. How "official" does it have to get?

Amazing. It's 2009 and white guys still decide if black guys can be in the club.

IMO, Cheney is having serious cognitive problems. The world is passing him by, and he does not have a clue. Still trying to stay "relevant"......when his only "relevance" is related to his WAR CRIMES!

Powell left the GOP when he left SecState. Nothing new here. Cheney just pulling up the rear, obviously, yours.

What a perfect dispaly of liberalism and it's lack of logic. Additionally, it shows how much liberals rely on racism to try and make points especially when race has absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand.

Where did you ever get race from that discussion?

Agreed. We need to string Pelosi too for her involvement in war crimes, right?
