Of course, part of any divorce settlement could be . .

You can keep the dog and the plasma TV if you agree to wear a scarlet letter "A" tattooed on your cheeks for 5 years.

Yup.

I wonder what OP thinks is an appropriate punishment to be imposed by a court for conviction of adultery? Having the big A sewn into your clothes and being forced to stand on a platform for the whole town to see? Maybe having the A branded on to the person's arm? LOL

I'm thinking more like they'd like that person posted on the internet, you know how sex offenders are? Yeah, how great would that be? I wonder what the percentage of people would be on that? The site would be overloaded.

States may have those laws on the books, but it is unlikely that they are enforceable in light of Lawrence v. Texas.

No kidding.

I can just imagine people saying "we can't live there because our kids will fall victim to all those adulterers in the area."

I don't approve of the laws. And you may be right.

If adultery was a crime four years ago I would have been in jail.

Like someone else said: You can't legislate morality.

I don't even know how to answer this.... But here goes!

Adultery is a moral dilema. Not legal.

I imagine Mr. Gosselin cheated on his wife because she is a raging bi*ch.

The kids are horrendously ugly.

They should not have done the invitro thingy...as they usually produce frog like kids.

Kate is horrid.

Poor kids.

The man should run.
