You're speaking from pure ignorance and I'm speaking from first hand knowledge because I've spent more time in Venezuela than you've spent in or even thinking about Africa.

Nobody said this was "our business", we're simply answering the OP's question about why people in Venezuela appear to like Chavez. Nobody is worrying about Chavez except for our President who comes off looking like a retard every time he gets near Chavez who plays him like a little organ grinder monkey on a chain. Obama shakes hands with Chavez then 5 seconds later Chavez says something that makes him look like a little ***** and he can't do or say anything about it.

Which is unfortunate -- since if anyone looks like a monkey, it's Hugo.

Or a toad.

Nothing like a Hitler wannabe on chemotherapy. If I were Brazil, I'd be nervous.

Africa? Who said anything about Africa? Where's that coming from? (i already know, but ......)

Anyway, interesting that you found some way to link Obama, Chavez, and monkeys (especially Obama and monkeys...your style). I doubt you know diddly squat about Venezuela. Being anti-Chavez is just part of the right wing spiel. If Rush hates Chavez, then YOU hate Chavez. That's the extent of it.

Hugo Chavez is a POS who has ruined many lives but the left ignores all that because they want to like him... they need to like him for some crazy reason.

Nobody cares what you doubt, you speak from a position of complete ignorance like normal so nobody really cares. Spend some time in Venezuela dealing with people who live there and I'll start to acknowledge that you have an opinion on the subject, until then keep that trash to yourself and worry about your normal talking points.

S'what i thought. Like is said, if Rush and Hannity says you should hate Chavez, then you'll run with your marching orders. I don't need to spend time in Venezuela to know that i should be worrying about my own country.

I don't pay attention to or watch Hannity or Rush, I leave that BS to the left wing nut jobs here on CD who watch Fox 24/7 which claiming those who watch Fox are crazy.

I laugh at how some people on here are saying that hating Chavez is "right-wing" spiel......

Do you know any Venezuelans?

I know several, some in America, some now living in other countries, none of them have citizenship anywhere else and they all hate Chavez and are afraid to go back because of him.

They tell me horrible stories of him and his forces kidnapping people without reason or warning and imprisoning them for several months, harassing ethnic minorities and gays, randomly forcing people to show them what they are doing on their cell phones.......

And then there's the police corruption that he refuses to acknowledge....

I think its pretty safe to say that being anti-Chavez is not some "right-wing" spiel, and I've done plenty of research and heard opinions from people actually from there to make up a substantial view.

That's not to say that he hasn't done SOME good things, but overall he's made Venezuela worse off than before he ruled.

Chavez takes from many to give to some. The people who like him are the some.
