So the gay side can claim that it's a natural and normal behavior and to prove once and for all that they're not mentally ill.

Does it really matter anyway? People discriminate because of skin color and that is 100% proven to be in the genes. So if it is proven that Gays are "born" they still will be discriminated against.

First, the entire NARTH organization has been quite legitimately attacked for years for being nothing but a fundie-sponsored anti-gay propaganda organization. Second, neither of the forms of the APA statement presented rules anything in or out.

Gay bashers have no reason to cheer, scientists haven't called homosexuality a life style choice.

Why would anybody choose to be gay? Why would anybody choose to be part of a group that is persecuted daily by a group of narrow minded bigots such as yourselves?

Discrimination is a part of the human condition. People choose to discriminate against others for one reason or another. Class, age, sex, "race", sexual orientation, hair color, eye color, money, religion, are all things that humans choose to discriminate over. That is something that will never change.

Why do people die their hair blue and still get mohawks?

p.s. I dont think the majority of "gays" are persecuted daily, I would think that depends on where they live. In some areas, I would assume that people think its "cool" to be gay..

It seems as if they are trying to validate their prejudice more than anything, ie that one group of people are less than them, and since there is no gay gene, then these people were just asking for it anyway.

This board is hyper focused on gays and has been for months, it's always the same people ranting about it.

People who die their hair blue or get a mohawk rarely are doing so ten years later.
