If you listen to liberals, they are the "reality-based" people. They contrast themselves to conservatives, who they claim are ideology-based or faith-based.

"The arguments of liberals are more often grounded in reason and fact." Barack Obama (http://www.examiner.com/a-538596%7EPerception_vs__reality.html - broken link)

"Reality has a well-known liberal bias." Stephen Colbert

"The facts of life are conservative." Margaret Thatcher

I offer here several pieces of evidence, large and small. You can be the judge of who is right, Stephen Colbert or Maggie Thatcher.
Some of this stuff is hilarious, but I don't think it was intended to be funny, at least for the left.

Read it, you might like it! American Thinker- Print Article

Oh, yeah, one other thing, there's lots of links, so the author has done his "research," thank God!

Funny? I laughed while reading that whole thing that I had to stop a couple of times because of tears. Some of those liberal plots and plans turned out so bad that the perps ended up dead and probably wondering how they could have been so wrong. Measuring North Pole ice just isn't supposed to be done from a ship.

Living with grizzly bears is bad unless you provide them something else to eat other than you. On and on, laugh after laugh.

I'm still trying to divine the irony of a experimental craft being rescued by an oil tanker? Perhaps if the argument was between differing philosophies of sea-worthiness rather than propulsion systems I understand the argument. The same goes for the three Arctic trekers who attempted to combine their desire to explore the Arctic on foot with scientific research and use of an aircraft to map out some of the same research. In both cases it seems like an attempt by American Thinker(?) to turn apples into oranges.
