In Depth: World's Happiest Places - Forbes.com

Here is a slideshow. It is basically the same except this time our neighbors to the North, Canada made the list as the sixth happiest nation.

For sure, there is SOMETHING we can learn from them.

Cost of living in alot of the countries is modest and alot of jobs are family businesses.Though my brother would disagree with you about Ireland. He has lived there for many years and even though he makes a good salary, the prices for everything keep going up.The majority of the population frequent the pubs so maybe the poll for this country was taken then.

This is a bit off topic, and who knows if there is a relationship, but I don't like the stuff:

I'll start.

"Well of course, they're happy! Their governments give them handouts for everything! They're a bunch of SOCIALISTS! And I hate happy SOCIALISTS!"

(The above was a tongue-in-cheek dramatization of the type of response one might expect to see here. They aren't my true feelings. )

I don't get it. I'm Canadian and I hate Dijon mustard. I put mustard on my hot dog though
