Sadly, many women never get the right to govern their own bodies. Aborted female babies never have a chance to exert this right.

They would if you'd take those moms in hand at the clinic and offer to maintain them through their pregnancies and then adopt their babies. You'll do that, wont you?

murder or not, debatable. you can't legislate morality, intelligence or responsibility. I would love it if there was never a need to abort, period. however that is not reality. keeping ones legs closed, keeping it your pants, using birth control, doing the right thing, does not always happen and to put these things out there as a way to solve the problem is putting your head in the sand and ignoring all the people who find themselves pregnant under other circumstances. are these people not worth your compassion because you judge their morality or life situation as being something less than up to your standards? you would prefer that all the children born to crack whores and unwed teens, children with birth defects and children that have the face of their mother's rapist or the face of the mother's very own father or uncle be born to live a life no matter how hard on them and the parent. yes the fetus if left to develop becomes and "innocent" baby, do you care about what kind of life it will have once born? are you willing to adopt these children? are you willing to pay higher taxes to feed, educate and give them shelter and medical help? there are not enough do gooders in the world to take care of all these "innocents" people gripe now about welfare and taxes, you start taking care of a crack whores baby and people would gripe that she was a welfare loafer and be really mad 14 to 18years later when her child repeats what he has been taught and exposed to in their life. is abortion ugly? yes will it go away if we ban it? no. if we ban it what happens to the women who die from the unsafe abortion they give themselves? is it alright to turn your back on them. perhaps you don't think they deserve your compassion because they didn't keep their legs closed. if you care about life, care about all life not just what you deem innocent

Many people actually do or would love to do so. There is no shortage of parents for newborns in the US.

Norma Mc Corvey saw the light and turned away from EVIL.

Tell that to the half a million children in foster care.

200,000 of them are eligible and waiting for adoption right now.

That was not, of course, Palin's intention in revealing that she momentarily considered having an abortion. Twice, actually -- once when she discovered she would be a mother at 44, again several weeks later when she discovered that her baby would have Down syndrome. "
And Sarah Palin and Norma McCorvey are dumb enough not to realize that they are, in fact, pro-choice ... they live in a country that women can choose TO keep a fetus and carry it to term, not run the risk of being arrested for making another CHOICE. Wonder where Norma's baby is now ... he/she is in their 30's now I 'spect.

Duh.

Children in foster care, by and large, were not relinguished for adoption as newborns. They were generally taken from their family because of neglect/drug addiction and/or abuse. Adopting an infant is clearly a different issue to adopting an older child. You have whole different set of issues to deal with, and I will not argue that everyone wants or is equipped to deal with that. They have not been "released for adoption." But that's a topic for another day.) However, a woman walking into an abortion clinic, which is what my response addressed, is in the position to place her newborn for adoption rather than abort if she chooses that instead.

You're not on ignore. The modus operandi for this poster is to scurry away when the light is turned on.
