It's just as silly as driving a big SUV and saying you want to protect america from terrorists.
Driving an SUV, filling it up with oil....supports terrorists.
nico's excellent father just wakes up full of hate doesn't he? now that must be a miserable life to lead.
what hate? It's just an observation. Your reply is pretty angry for such a mild topic. Though like a typical right winger you project your anger onto someone else.
I see many of those yellow ribbon stickers on cars( the magnetic ones) as well as on lawnsigns and on flags. Many of the cars had anti Bush and anti war stickers as well as the support the troops stickers. You support the troops and don't support Bush or the war, that's fine. I have one on my car and my support of Bush was lukewarm at best before the market meltdown, but I supported the troops and the war once it was started. The idea was good but it just wasn't realistic. Some people don't want freedom or democracy. Even here in the USA they don't want freedom or democracy. We have enough die hard supporters of the far right and the far left as proof of that.
Anyway, I had a good laugh that some liberals were called neocons for the support the troops and having the ribbons. Heck, they're practically the same anyway.

Observations that crack their fragile psyche must be pawned off on someone else. I ignore them.
