I see many African American males walking around Washington DC that look like extras from a BET (Black Entertainment Television) Music Video. They have all the characteristics of a person into HOP HOP and Gangsta Rap. While it is there right to dress like this, cop that attitude and play that part because it may make them look cool to some of the kids in school, they have no right to complain about racial discrimination, or do they?
Are HIP HOP Gangsta-Rap acting Black men asking for racial discrimination? In my opinion, no. They're trying to look 'bad', intimidate people, and inspire fear and a perverse sort of admiration by their dress and demeanor. The negative perception they sense from others isn't 'racial discrimination'...it's something else.
If all a black man wanted to do was to experience racial discrimination, he would only have to 'be black'...and then proceed to seek out the company of anti-black racists. He wouldn't have to dress or behave or 'act' in any way; his mere skin color would do the trick.
Those who 'act bad' are asking for the attention of the police and the disapproval of people, or to 'get even' with society... NOT for racial discrimination. Those are two separate things. Even nice, well-groomed, well-spoken people can experience racial discrimination...acting like a 'thug' is something else.
Who cares how they dress. When you listen to the new rap all they talk about is how much money they got and how much po tang they get. The little children watch this and they think thats how life is.
Money grows on trees and all women are easy to poke. hahahahah LMFAO then they face the real world...
Lol...Let them learn for themselves...The only ones getting rich are lil wayne jeezy jay z etc...By feeding BS to these little children...Understand?
agreed . And why did he make it racial because nowdays alot of people under 30 (unofficially under 34-35) dress like that
Yes, this style of dress has spead across all races unfortunately.
One or two nights a month I work as a bartender and without fail if someone is causing a problem they are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS some young white kid dressed in this crap. Baggy pant, (usually fake) bling, UGLY straight brimmed hat (cocked to the side of course) and don't forget their Ed Hardy Tee and hoodie! They also ALL talk like they are from compton despite being born and raised in Ohio.
Sure it might be considered profiling but I wish the police had the power to arrest any white male dressed this way.
They ALL start trouble. Not some ALL.
