Okay..I just had to post a different poll. I really dont' get involved too much in this abortion debate.. but when a poll is clearly slanted it's ..well useless. So .. to be fair I included ALL the categories above so that it's clear

tristan much better poll but what does having children do with it? except identifing who has kids. take that off and more will vote. doesn't matter why you feel a certain way, even if children made you feel that way leaving that on allows people to think...well if they had kids maybe they would feel different. knowing if one has kids or not can "explain" a lot to some that thinks being a parent or not makes you better informed

I applaud the effort but since we're involving politically biased words, your poll is still incomplete. From a "Pro-abortion" (they prefer the disconnected term of "pro-choice") perspective, the other options are: "Anti-Choice/with kids" and "Anti-Choice/whithout kids".

The other poll was fine, IMO, but those who advocate for abortion take offense at calling a spade a spade and saying they're "pro-abortion."

I don't know where I fit into that poll.

I am for terminating a pregnancy if the fetus will not develop into a physically healthy and intellectually normal baby. Birth defects which cannot be corrected, drug induced cognitive defects. The reasons for a mother terminating their pregnancy under these conditions should be private between a patient and doctor.

I am for termination of pregnancy when the life of the mother is in danger.

I am for termination of pregnancy when the life of the fetus is in danger.

I am for termination of pregnancy in the case of rape or incest.

When the mother is under the age of 16.

I am for termination of pregnancy if carrying a child to term will endanger the mental health of the mother.

I believe that late term abortions are wrong. That comes from an already irresponsible parent waiting too long to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.

I am not in favor of using abortions as a form of birth control.

I know I'm opinionated. Right or wrong, that's for the mother to decide and her creator to judge.

I have never had an abortion.

I have never needed to consider one.

I was responsible with my reproductive health because I knew I would not want to have to make a decision like a termination.

I am not sure I would unless I fell into any of the categories I stated in my previous post.

Just because it's not right for me to do, doesn't mean that someone else couldn't benefit from having that procedure performed.

And in my opinion it should be available to them if they need to have it done.

The people screaming the loudest about pro-life issues don't have any viable solutions for the unwanted children who are born. Many who are neglected, and abused.

If I knew I was carrying a child that was going to be an unnecessary financial burden as far as lifelong medical problems, or I was carrying a child that was the product of a rape. I am 100% sure I would not want to carry it to term.
