Someone mentioned that GWB seems like a puppet. I agree with this and will take it a bit further.
I've mentioned this theory to family members, who all think I'm nuts. Feel free to join.
I believe that Bush is, for lack of a better word (deep breath here), slow. I truly in my heart believe this. I don't use the word "slow" lightly. I myself have a special needs child. . .
He also has those funny little low-lying Fetal Alcohol Syndrome ears.
There. I said it! Mwah hah.
.
As a parent of a slow child yourself, I find it unbelievable that you would try to label someone as such just to make a (feeble) political point. I would think you of all people would be more sensitive.
Are you a medical doctor? "funny little-low-lying Fetal Alcohol Syndrome ears." It is really pitiful when someone has to resort to these kind of mean-spirited and hollow attacks on our President's intellect and physical appearance. because they have nothing of substance to offer.
Well, we meet again Amaznjohn (I've been away for a week). Before I continue, please don't take this as an attack--it's just an observation based on our prior 'meetings'. As in other threads, you keep clamoring for facts and proof, but I seriously doubt that it would matter. You ask for someone to convince you but you appear to have no intention of believing them. You could just as easily surf the net and find the facts, but you are here in these forums looking for an argument ostensibly surrounded by people who don't want to play this losing game. I think enough facts have come forward, enough mistakes have been made, enough unAmerican actions have been taken to seriously qualify Mr. Bush as the worst president in our history. At least, in MY life anyway. The man is owned by big business, was installed (not elected) to rubberstamp their whims into law, and is so f=ing arrogant that the mere sight of him or sound of his voice makes me turn the TV channel. A leader, he is not. An honest man, he is not. A genuinely caring individual, he is not. A competent man, he SURELY is not. A man who could make millions of US citizens lose their pride and patriotism is not a good President.
Still void of facts? I understand. BTW, finding facts is impossible, when none exist, even on the internet.

I believe that Bush is, for lack of a better word (deep breath here), slow. I truly in my heart believe this. I don't use the word "slow" lightly. I myself have a special needs child and I don't like to use old-fashioned and possibly inaccurate intelligence assessments. But in this case...that is the word that comes to my mind each and every time I hear this man speak. Slow.
How many "slow" individuals have a bachelor's degree from Yale and a Master's from Harvard Law Schoold? How many on here can HONESTLY claim the same accomplishments? You JerZ?
Yale has a long history of accepting the children of alumni....can't recall that being a habit of Harvard's--but I'll ask around among my former Harvard colleagues.
Fine or finest education, btw, doesn't always inspire intellect, just book reading.
I agree with ontheroad on education: some many times, having a "Harvard" or a "Yale" equals saying "I have a house in the Caribbean and a BMW because daddy bought them for me", specially when one has to present it as ID. It doesn't mean one has a good education or is a good person or will do any good to the world.
Regarding our presidency, by no means is Bush Jr the worst specimen we've ever had. Reagan alone did more wrong than W, although it is less known because people buy into the silly exaltation and sainthood that followed Reagan's death.
Without going back too far in history, I have no doubt as to who is the WORST commander-in-chief: Richard Nixon. Crooked, liar, venomous, enemy of freedom, thief...
Yes, "daddy" can help one get in but to graduate one does have to complete the work. If he was given a degree from this university it must say something. But I too wonder the educational and intellectual background of his critics. . .

Agreed, but slow?
