They certainly are inconsiderate. Sure seems odd that most of them, being as poor as they are sure have some fancy cellular phones that play all kinds of lovely loud sound-effects that disrupt the audience.

Sure seems odd that being as poor as they are have a boatload of misbehaving children that the rest of us are probably supporting with our taxes!

I do not attend too many movies because of the inconsiderate actions of others, and many movies that contain a PG-13 or R rating are saturated with profanity, sexual situations, drug usage, or graphic violence that never used to be allowed in motion pictures.

Thank goodness for DVDs.

Anyway that individual was simply stating an opinion. Perhaps if you are incapable of tolerating the heated statements that are generated in this forum you shouldn't be in the kitchen, to paraphrase the old saying.

I agree with almost everything written here. I love going to the cinema (Dag! How pretentious did that sound?) but it has become the noisarama. When I go, and it ain't often anymore, I go to the late show during the week or on Sunday evening. Best bet for a decent and diminished crowd.

In my experience, the worst is Manhattan. Those Armani-clad sophisticatos, the kind so prevalent on Sex & the City with their uplifted noses and disdainfull expressions, turn into kids at the beach in a theater.

I hear a screaming baby in the movies and right after I hunt down the manager and get my money back. I'm not talking "G" Disney movies here..but PG13 and R.

Rent a DVD or get a babysitter but don't bring a screaming baby to see an adult movie.

You don't have to go in the middle of the weekday! Just open up with a can of pepper spray and you will have the whole place to yourself!

Who are you to accuse people of being ignorant? It's an OPINION. Opinions are neither right nor wrong...they just ARE.

Get over yourself.

Better yet, don't breed if you're not ready.
No one thinks your kid is cute except for you.

There's a difference between participation in the movie screening and a running dialog by patrons.
