Look, if 9/11 were to have happened on Obamas watch guess what would have occured.....Obama would have been hustled out of wherever he was onto airforce one and would have been flown to Omaha. Biden would have hunkered down in the bunker (although Biden quite probably would have 'tweeted' his experience, but still..)

I think if anyone has read Richard Clarke's account of 9/11 from within the White House would have a better idea of the sentiment being expressed by the thread author. According to Clarke's account describing Cheney as "cowering" during the attacks wouldn't be far off the mark.
