I agree, but I think he made a big leap in his statement by basically skipping the discussion about California's welfare program and suddenly blaming the costs of it on Obama.
What he SHOULD be doing first is cutting off assistance for all those who ARE NOT American citizens - that in itself would free up a substantial amount of money for the State.
Cutting off the social programs is not the answer because it for one is punishing American citizens for the failure of State and Federal Government, not protecting its' borders.
If this happens - all the illegals will run to Texas.
What are the people who are on welfare going to do? They are unemployable. They will become homeless and then have money spent on them out of a different pot of money. These people are going to be supported by the government one way or another regardless.
Yeah, that's a great idea. Who cares about the explosion of hungry, homeless kids that would cause? As if there aren't enough kids living in cars, hotels and tent cities right now.

Under national socialism (voluntary) via participation in FICA, all contributors (enumerated socialist serfs) are obligated to pay. The government is merely the administrator for the insane system.
The optimal solution is for the productive working members of California to volunteer out of socialism.
