Exactly! They exhumed Cheney's pasty white carcass to rise to the occasion. Although, I think many wish that he would keep his foul smelling mouth shut.
I think when they realize he is running interference so they don't investigate the administrations role in various illegal activities His popularity will wane. He wants to make waves and keep people from seeing what they did so he won't end up on a noose.

What makes you think I'm a "Liberal"? I'm an American with a moral compass and I understand the difference between evil and just. I detest labels as I do no treat life and circumstance as a football game. I vote for a government official based on their voting record on the issues and not party affiliation. It is only a very stupid individual that votes party lines when it is against their own and their country's best interests.
The last two poster obviously have no clue as to Dick Cheney's past. They are not aware of the the PNAC and their agenda. They are not well read on the facts of how Cheney was the most instrumental of thugs that has taken this nation down a destructive road. Cheny dodged the draft and yet has sent far too many to their deaths while he made a fortune via Hell-iburton and an illegal occupation of a country that had zero to do with 9/11. Funny that you should say that. After I posted, I remembered that there really is a part of the population that admires and gets off on the criminal mentality and machinations of a monster such as Cheney. After all, even Manson received fan mail.
