exactly... if this was part of the gay curiculum being taught at schools.. all the people who are pissed off would absolutely LOVE IT.. even though it's inaccurate, false, slanderous, and ignorant or what really is a threat out there, and where it's really coming from..
This program, seems to be about tolerance, and I fully support the program, it is one time per year concerning the issue.. it is meant to promote acceptance and tolerance.. you may not have to accept homosexuals or tolerate them in your day to day life.. but if you're children are in a public school that is open and welcoming of all.. they WILL be tolerant and respectful of other students who are gay.. or come from gay families.. if that is asking too much of you and your family.. you certainly are welcome to your beliefs and your rights... nothing is forcing your child to be in a public school...but when they are.. this is the criteria.. and the order of the day...

Every child who has a question deserves an age-appropriate answer regardless of the subject. Kids are not stupid. If you lie or try to avoid a subject, they can smell the BS from a hundred miles.

So let's not try to portray this as if two gay men will be having sex in front of your 5-year-old and asking them to join in for God's sake.
Some people get hysterical over the very idea that their child may not grow up as ignorant as them.
I find it sad and think that parents who try to teach their children to HATE other people should be charged with child abuse

What if there was a 45 minute lecture on tolerance toward Christians, telling children that Christianity is a normal part of every day life in America. How many tolerant liberals would get out the pitch forks and scream indoctrination over that???
I would support such a lecture only if it included the information that the practice of religion is a freedom guaranteed us by the Constitution and that all religions are to be respected as are those who practice them.
"Separation of Church and State" means simply that the state will not promote any particular religion, and that everyone is free to believe as they choose or free not to believe if they so choose.
A lecture presented by the State promoting Christianity alone would therefore be in direct opposition to the Constitution, and I would oppose it.
The Gay Activists have said that they are not interested in indoctrination of children, that schools don't force Gay indoctrination.
Those opposed to the Gay extremists warned of this agenda being in the works and now it is blatant, and forced.
Parents cannot opt out of the force feeding of Gay perversion.
Even going so far to insinuate that Same sex Gays can have children like normal straight couples.
All that is taught at this age is that homosexuality exists which it does and that we might should be tolerant of it. If by indoctination you mean that anyone can be 'talked into' being gay or persuaded into being gay, that is ridiculous. One cannot be persuaded to be sexually attracted to someone who they are not sexually attracted to.
You may be confusing this with someone who is gay but has not come to terms with it. You are confusing this with gays who were in hiding and come out of the closet because they begin to feel that maybe its ok to be gay. This is a good thing.
I can't help but think that since YOU feel its possible to talk someone into being gay that you yourself may be gay. If that's the case you could, indeed, be talked into coming to terms with your feelings and being more open about it even to yourself. If you truly did not have any gay feelings you would realize how ridiculous it is to assume that someone could be 'indoctrinated' into the lifestyle.
