There was a question? I thought you had a bloody nose?
You have the choice to discard it, if it does not suit you. .
So now your taking the conservative argument? That if you dont like the fees, get rid of the card? No, thats not your argument at all, you seem to not care if the government, caused banks to increase fees, and NOW, only AFTER the government has caused more fees, and limited the ability of the poor to obtain a card do you NOW agree that additional laws were not necessary..
The poor shouldn't have credit cards to begin with. Don't live ABOVE your means with money that is not yours. I hear layaway is making a comeback as well as savings accounts and paying with cash.
I hope the fees and increased interest rate drive millions away from credit cards. Then only the rich will use them and fund the banksters.
Consumer debt is nothing more than a form of slavery to the banks.
They would've done this anyways, they're greedy leeches.
Amen. In any event banks have already increased fees and interest rates in an attempt to goose their profits to make up for the loses they made over the last two years. The reality is credit cards were just about the only industry which didn't have any meaningful regulations or standard practices. The banks could literally do what ever they wanted. It's about time some basic rules were set in place.

You must have been dropped on the head a few times, to be unable to understand that as an American, I can decide to live without a credit card (I do not rely on credit, so these things don't affect me. I have one American Express, and don't even use it), and not be in debt like many idiots losing their shirts now. Simple as that.
Stop trying to label people as this or that. I had people read your post, and most don't see what you say make sense. Get over yourself with labeling this or that. Why don't you try to make sense of things instead of trying to clump yourself or others into groups (liberal this, conservative that...). Get a life, dude.
