we did more than water boarding sir...and in the past commited some of thee above^^

I agree with you. The people you named, and many others, were the type of Republicans that raised me. And though I didn't agree with them on all issues I did respect them and believe that they were just as right in their opinions as those on the other side of the aisle. But when people in the Republican party today would rather be represented by people like Dick Cheney than people like Tom Ridge or Colin Powell then it sadly shows that the Republican party as we knew it is dead.

Ridge and Powell are not chickenhawks. Both served in combat.




Cheney speaking up on military affairs like he's some sort of expert is like Bill Clinton speaking out on how to be a faithful hubbie.
