Perry Secession Talk Anti-American, Democrats Say

GREAT! About time the Democratic leaders started calling the extremists on their UnAmerican calls for hatred against all things Obama.

When we objected to the Iraq war based on lies..we got called UnAmerican by the Republicans AND MSM. In spite of the fact we were right....we never once called for secession or hatred of Bush or any Republican....we just believed the war was wrong and making matters worse...which in retrospect it DID.

How dare the losers now incited hatred and secession and threaten the stability of our country.
Did Obama start immoral wars? Did he ruin the economy?
NO
Those were handed to him...now start supporting him or please...DO SECEDE and get out of the way of honest citizens who love our country enough to support our president who is the clear winner and the rest of the world can respect...but not Repubs...

You are the one who is anti-American. Don't call us losers. You are like an immature child with a glorified hero who you are obsessed with....Obama. Clearly the loser in the situation is YOU.

Hopefully you will wake up one day and see the light, causing you to take back your bigotry and hatred.

I love the part of your post where you mention WE are threatening the "stability of our country." That's quite amusing. Last time I checked Texas is far more stable than the country as a whole.

As the Department of Defense is studying military bases to decide which one to close, any bases located in states threatening secession should move to the top of the list for closure. No sense in investing money in expanding bases and moving troops to states that might not be in US in future...

Screw the dems. They're all about control, disguised as "fairness" and "equality" and feelings. Rock on Texas!

Well then field some candidates for 2010 and take America back. Gov Perry's words are reckless and disgraceful.

I'm just watching this go down, and I'm thinking about how for a generation conservative Republicans wrapped themselves in the flag, questioned opponents' patriotism and called each other "great Americans" They lose an election and suddenly the governer of Texas is raising the specter of secession--breaking up the union.

So the question is, who's the real anti-american?

Duke did you notice that the HuffPo article was quite a bit shorter than your post. In fact I saw very little of what you posted in the HuffPo article.

Hey Duke, why don't you just go ahead and link us to Kos articles?

Secession is as American as it gets...there wouldn't be a U.S. if we didn't secede from Great Britain. Popular sovereignty is as American as it gets; if people no longer consent to be governed by a government they have a right to abolish it, replace it, etc.
