Since when was Anti-Israel Anti-Jewish? The only people that believe that are people who are brainwashed. Iran isn't against Jews, neither are most who are against Israel. They are against the way the government of Israel goes on, not Israelis themselves. I suggest you take a good look at Israel and the crimes they have comitted and still are commiting!

Your interpretation. For all intensive purposes, you are correct. Strictly speaking however, it was still a democracy. You had the right to choose who you wanted to run the country. Since 99.99% of people knew their fate if they didn't vote for Saddam, guess where the votes went? Or, did you miss the newsdays where they tallied Saddam's votes?

OK I admit I am a raging liberal and like all liberals I think the government should limit itself to a very few things including national defense. And as part of national defense it is in our interest to cultivate friends ina very dangerous part of the world. I know it is boderline communist for us to defend ourselves.
