Strangest thing: beginning early last week up until and including Thursday night/Friday morning- many are planning their Memorial Day weekend-
hotels
resorts
beaches
pools
campsites
(just to name a few)

The weather forcast: bright and sunny- not too hot- a pleasant 83-85 degrees for Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon

WOW! Got to go on vacation with that kind of weather!

(this is an area in NC that the tv and radio forecasted good weather)

Nah, I decided to stay home and work on home improvement projects-

rain, rain, and more rain. Overcast skys and a slight chill in the air.

WHAT! What about all those people the media persuaded to vacation- to spend $$$$ on gas, food, lodging, events-including NASCAR.

Then Friday afternoon the forcast changes but will still be sunny the rest of the weekend, WRONG.

I wasn't the only one thinking of this....a nurse said the same thing to me and then someone at a store-

Did someone control the weather predictions to compel us (in this area at least) to spend money? [remember many events are NO REFUNDS and hotels require a day's notice for cancellation]

And before you go thinking the weather is hard to forecast...yada yada.... it's never been THIS wrong before.
