Hispanics already support marriage quality on the same level as Whites. Convincing Blacks would be a simple matter, the enemy of my enemy, after all.

You mean marriage "equality". I would beg to differ. The blacks and hispanics were instrumental in sinking prop 8.

FiveThirtyEight: Politics Done Right: Hispanics Back Gay Marriage at Same Rates as Whites

And not even Blacks were instrumental. Earlier analysts debunked the claim that the Black vote is what pushed 8 over the top. Blacks are a small portion of the population in California, and as a result an even more minute sliver of the voting population.

Liberals promoting what essentially amounts to voter disenfranchisement of minorities. How magnanimous of them.

I have now - officially - seen it all.

Edit:

On closer inspection, the post appears to be nothing more than a clever attempt at trolling. I highly doubt any sensible supporter of gay marriage would seriously advocate such a heinous strategy.

You cannot put the rights of a minority up to a vote of the majority. That is fundamentaly flawed. The founders never intended for this to be a 'rule by the will of the people' country. That's why there is an independent judiciary who are appointed for a term of 'good behavior' i.e. life. Read the Federalist Papers #78 by Alexander Hamilton regarding the judiciary for the thinking of the founders on this issue.

The court did not rule against Gay families. In fact they ruled for Gay families. They said that Gays couples must be treated the same as straight couples with the exception of they didn't want it called marriage. That's simply semantics. A rose by any other name smells as sweet.
