The thread author is attempting to argue that this is some sort of event particular to Obama, when in fact it is a very common fundraising gimmick. The Bush example simply serves to the purpose of pointing that out, and the hypocrisy of the thread itself. Everyone knows (or anyone with half a brain) attendees to these events aren't giving $25,000 for a keepsake photograph.
