Please!
If the partner who had asked the questions had also had a Puerto Rican surname then these would have been good examples of critical thinking queries.

Socialist..

Former Prosecutor, and CORPORATE attorney.

Has concurred with her Republican justices on the 4th District 95% of the time.

380 written opinions and only 3 have been reversed by the Supreme Court.

Get back to us when you know what you are writing about.
Seems like the party of no, just wants to say............just cause she ain't just like them.

They've entered the 7 stages of grief!!

Of course they are afraid of a centrist judge (which most judicial watches call her), since they are not guaranteed she will vote their way all the time!!!

Once again to quote Thurgood Marshall, "A black snake will bite you just like a white one." You are positing that a Puerto Rican lawyer would state that large law firms should not hire Puerto Rican students because they are unprepared?

I guess that is possible ... but your gratuitous statement has no basis at all. You are talking out of your hat.

More like 60%.

This is a quote from within the below link.

"Her high reversal rate alone should be enough for us to pause and take a good look at her record. Frankly, it is the Senates duty to do so," said Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America.

Sotomayor reversed 60% by high court - Washington Times

Maybe you need to read the article before posting it here.

"she wrote 380 majority opinions during her 11 years on the appeals court. Of those 380 opinions, the Supreme Court heard five of the cases and overturned her on three"

3 of five cases goinig to the Supreme Court = 60%

3 of 380 opinions = 0.8%

Just sayin'...

And according to Ockham's Razor the “The simplest explanation for a phenomenon is most likely the correct explanation."

I seriously doubt that the intention of the questions to her were meant to insult. Why on Earth would someone in that position ask that of a potential employee?
They were probably meant to see what kind of a mind she had and whether she could look at issues dispassionately.

Apparently she couldn't!

Mr. Krall was unwise in asking the questions but I believe that he was looking for a debate from her.

Good grief - the mental gymnastics that some of you go through to justify ridiculous behavior.

The fact of the matter is that as an attorney, Mr. Krall should have been fully aware that his questions were inappropriate and he should be glad that he was only forced to issue Sotomayor an apology.

You know what the road to hell is paved with?

I disavow Occam's Razor. "For every complex question there is a simple answer -- and that answer is wrong." -- Mencken.

Frightening, isn't it?

The fact that this woman is a left-winger who is a member of a radical illegal immigrant rights organization is highly disturbing in itself.

This is part of Obama's plan to change the course of the United States in the name of progress, no matter how dangerous it is.
