It represents a disgusting government. It is offensive.

Now this beats anything I have heard. Our AMERICAN flag is now "offensive". According to people and patients at this North Texas Hospital, it is!

I bet if a Mexican had a Mexican Flag hanging in their office, noone would have said a peep.

Sad!! Very Very SAD!!
Hopefully, it was an honest mistake and concern over size. Otherwise, it would be ridiculous...

But scrolling down, I noticed links to these stories...

* N. Texas Couple Finds Jesus In A Cheeto
* Man Guilty Of Deliberate HIV Infections

So perhaps the issues over yonder go much deeper than the flag?

using that logic, it's one persons word against another on what happened. just one person used the media.......that darn, liberal media, at that.

It doesnt matter if the flag was 3'x5' or 30'x50'....if someone finds our United States flag OFFENSIVE.....GET YOUR A$$ OUTTA HERE THEN!
I agree 100% If you don't like the flag that you are living under then get out!

Funny how people hear what they want to.

Funny how people read what they want to.

I'd be willing to bet there's something in the handbook along the lines of "Other displays deemed inappropriate". Now don't eveyone jump on every word in here, I'm trying to give an example.

McLucas said hospital bosses told her as far as patriotism was concerned, the flag flying outside the hospital building would have to suffice.

"The disagreement was over the size of the flag and not what it symbolized. We have invited the employee to put the flag back up."

This was a large flag to put up in a shared office.
