In a 2004 criminal case, U.S. v. Sanchez-Villar, a three-judge panel that included Sotomayor wrote that "the right to possess a gun is clearly not a fundamental right."
Wasn't that case about nunchaku not guns?
And the ruling was that they are not "arms" within the meaning of the Second Amendment.
Or maybe I am reading the wrong case or a later appeal.
if you have any AK's at all, do you have your class 3 to go along with your true assault rifles?
if not, then you dont have any Ak's at home, just a civilianized lookalike military rifle.
Um...an auto sear is pretty dern easy to mill. A piece of metal, spring, etc to push back the disconnector as the bolt carrier goes forward. Not that I own any...
A pre-ban + homemade auto sear = realistic AK clone
Of course, the "tie string" method works for some, but is VERY dangerous as slamfires are a real possibility.
Barry has showed his true colors in his SC pick. Ms. Soto ruled, a few years back, that Americans do not have a constitutionally guaranteed right to bear arms. I think this case is up for the Supreme Court soon.
Oh, and I heard a little rumour: She's on the board of La Raza.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I smell blood in the water and say she can't be confirmed.
Funny how Barry figured she was a shoe-in because of her sex/ethnicity. Bwahahahaha.
Justified, yes by all means dust-off a very old thread............courtesy of Madcow and the gun-grabbing Stinkocrats who would LOVE to disarm the lowly masses.
What is it with the resurrection of this old garbage?
Don't we have enough current garbage to argue about?
