I have been told from several liberals that the only thing they are intolerant of is intolerance. Stotomeyer is intolerant of white people, yet i dont recall any lib calling her out on it, in fact they seem quite pleased about it. What gives?

What gives is most conservatives are morons who follow the talking points of conservative blowhards on FOX and AM radio.

They have no idea on this woman's qualifications, outside of two second sound bites from right wing propagandists.

Sad, truly sad, but ignorance is in abundance in America today

So says another lemming that would follow Obama off a cliff. Obama could have nominated Oprah and the sheep would clamor that it was an excellent choice

So says another lemming that would have followed Bush off a cliff. Bush could have nominated Rush and the sheep would clamor that it was an excellent choice.

Would any of you have been "suprised" that conservatives were ok with Alito when you were in charge? It's arguable that Alito is farther to the right than Sotomayor is to the left. But apparently that's not a problem.

The statement Sotomayor made was not indication that she was intollerant of "whites", however it was an indication that she needs to speak clearer to get her point across about "life experiences". Now if one does surface, then No she would not be a candidate for the highest court.

In all fairness, the conservatives rejected Harriet Miers. No cliff jumping for her.

I'm a little disappointed that Obama picked her, and many people call me a "liberal." However, I'm only going by what I've read and heard recently, not from any previous knowledge. Her rulings have sided with the Republicans over 90% according to Rachel Maddow, but I can't verify this. Because there have only been 2 women justices in history, 50% of the population has never been fairly represented, so I'm really happy he selected a female. I suppose since the Hispanic population is over 15%, we need to have 1 justice who is Hispanic, although I'm not positive if she would be the first Supreme Court Justice with Hispanic heritage. Can anyone confirm this? Still, I hope she was chosen for her experience, and it sounds as if this is the case. So at least it wasn't like John McCain picking Palin.

The only things proven are the OP made an unsubstantiated allegation that "[i]Stotomeyr(sic) is intolerant of white people" and is also a poor speller.
