Thanks for the link... First off your link doesn't place nlame on democrats it places it on tax credits...Thank you, I guess we shouldn't use tax credits as an incentive to stimulate anything...Liberals have been saying that all along.. Lets see how this turns out since it says that Obama is powerless until the Bush tax cuts expire.

the expiration of the Bush tax cuts at midnight on December 31, 2010 will renew interest in a tax law rewrite.

That will be an opportunity to gut the current system and replace it with something simpler and fairer. After all, if government is important enough to force most of us to work until April 13 to pay its bills, why shouldn't everyone share the pain?

There are lots of jobs (in many metro areas). The fact that some do not want to apply for them, or that the wage scale is lower than they would like, is not the issue - there are jobs out there to be had.

Your statement was not about the economy per se

Your statement was, there were no jobs to be had.

Your statement is clearly incorrect.

You're joking, right? The economy has been contracting for two quarters.

The Government does not have the ability to fix the problem of too few jobs. Perhaps the Government could fix this problem by shrinking itself and lowering taxes and regulations. This would help create more private sector jobs, but Obama is doing the opposite (as did Shwarzenegger, and you saw how that worked out). Obama's actions will have similar results.

That does mean that there no jobs "out there". There are actually a lot of jobs being advertised - and like I noted, the pay scale is not what some have been used to earning but, there are jobs nonetheless.
