PARIS — President Barack Obama remains by far the most popular world leader among people in major Western nations and is the one political figure on whom people consistently pin their hopes in the economic crisis, according to new polls conducted for the International Herald Tribune

So, why isn't he on American Idolatry? He certainly sings well enough...

All these countries have been jealous of America forever. I am sure they are in love with the man that will finally bring down America without anyone firing a shot.

Hmm...

most I see with the NYT & WSJ everyday under their arms don't look (or act) too liberal to me...nope, not at all....and I don't see any copies of it in the inner city either. Maybe they all read it in the closet. Yup, that must be it.

I don't know - I like the fact that we have a president the rest of the world likes. For a change.

Granted, the rest of the world's opinions are meaningless.
America! (**** Yeah!)

(kidding - but I'm going to have to watch that movie again)

It is ABSOLUTELY GREAT to hear that Obama is so well-liked around the world !!!

It is a total change from the way it was during the previous 8 years under our most hated president .... George W. Bush !!!

I could care less what other countries think of our president. All I care about is whether he is leading our country in the right direction and I'm reserving judgment until he's been in office at least 1 full year.

is our GDP dropping a good thing, as well?
is unemployment rising a good thing, even with the massive stimulus money printed (but not actually paid for yet), as well?
is our aggression into afghanistan a good thing, as well?
is trying to assimilate a large segment of illegal immigrants into a country with a smaller manufacturing base a good thing, as well?
is closing down GITMO with no place for the prisoners to go a good thing, as well?
is north korea launching nuclear weapons a good thing, as well?
is the fact that inflation is started to rear its ugly head and interest rates will start to go up a good thing, as well?

add cap and trade and a possible VAT Tax. It is as though liberals are so mesmerized by hussein obama they are blind to the damage he is doing to this country. I am so sickened by the ignorance to even see the facts I caoont bring myself to speake to the liberals in my family. How did his election turn off their brains?
