Every time there is some issue connected with African American (Black) people, the media brings out the two designated spokesman for us. Who appointed these fools as our spokesman?
I wonder sometime if it is all a plot to make Black people look bad. The ruling class in America (White men) do not want to openly condemn Blacks so they do it with visualization. They designate two fools to be our spokesman and show us a fools on Black Entertainment Television and in movies.
They have proven not to be the most articulate, consistently positive examples within the Black community and I don't consider either a spokesperson--but and that is a big "but" someone Black should openly contest their speaking out on behalf of others, and someone else--several come to mind--should take up the baton!
I really have no respect for Jessie Jackson - he only shows up when he thinks he can get some kind of photo op and I know of nothing he's really accomplished. Now ole Al amuses me. I think he's funny and even has some good things to say occasionally. I doubt either one of them have truly helped minority causes in any definitive way.
What Al has done is shine a spotlight on issues--albeit good or bad!
