Yeah, I'm reminded of the Inquisition and "Onward Christian Soldiers." Christian terrorists? Dime a dozen..

How can anyone who calls themselves a christian kill someone, how can you say you are glad a man is dead for doing his job.

Sorry but this proves to alot of us observers that some christians are really sick and the opposite of what they say they are.

The pro-choicers call it a parasite. Dr. Tiller hated parasites so he terminated them. Pro-lifers hated Dr. Tiller so they terminated him. What goes around comes around. I'm not sad at all.

I think it's more that some people use their twisted interpretation of the Christian religion as a crutch to justify their hatred of anyone who is not "like them".

He was charged because the prosecutor believed he had committed a crime. He was acquitted.
From our good friends at Wiki:
Quote:
Tiller went on trial in March 2009, charged with nineteen misdemeanors for allegedly consulting a second physician in late-term abortion cases who was not truly "independent" as required by Kansas state law.[20][21]

**snip**

On March 27, 2009, Tiller was found not guilty of all 19 misdemeanor charges stemming from some abortions he performed at his Wichita clinic in 2003. Although aquitted of criminal charges, the state’s Board of Healing Arts continues to investigate ethical violations that mirror prosecutors' allegations.[24]

You're kidding right? You stand up for Dr. Tiller but not for the innocent life that he killed? Somehow Dr. Tiller was an "arbiter of who deserves to live and who deserves to die", and that was OK by you? What a sham, and you don't even recognize it. That's the sad part.

Please understand - I am NOT defending the killing. I find it disgusting, as you do, and very hypocritical for anyone to call himself/herself "pro-life" and support the killing.

But honestly answer the question.
And he was acquitted. This man was obviously terrorized routinely by anti-choice fanatics. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the charges against him were nothing more than a kangaroo-court prosecution.

Looks like the DOJ has directed the US Marshals to get involved in protecting clinics...good. Here's a statement from the Attorney General ...

"The murder of Doctor George Tiller is an abhorrent act of violence, and his family is in our thoughts and prayers at this tragic moment. Federal law enforcement is coordinating with local law enforcement officials in Kansas on the investigation of this crime, and I have directed the United States Marshals Service to offer protection to other appropriate people and facilities around the nation. The Department of Justice will work to bring the perpetrator of this crime to justice. As a precautionary measure, we will also take appropriate steps to help prevent any related acts of violence from occurring."

How does anyone really know if this guy is a Christian?

I for one, as a Christian, don not believe in murdering fellow human beings (or animals for that matter).

Can someone point out to me that this man is a TRUE Christian?

BTW, the crime is horrible and should be punished to the full extent of the law.
