Sad, but you may be right!

Well, it's been a while now and the proof is in the pudding.
Woe to us.
Is there anything the new Boss does that even pretends to be "under the law"?

Personally, I'd love to see the Confederacy secede. All the Southeast, those dirt poor states that vote Republican, could form their own union.

We would have a Third World country in North America. Time to build that border fence, but think of the federal dollars we will save.
Wow, have you ever been south? Not even close to 3rd world. It might just be the other way around.

But no states are ever going to secede anyway.

i'm just trying to wrap my head around what would happen if a state were to secede. all military would be removed. soldiers and hardware. a state would have to completely rebuild its defense capacity from scrap ( not sure if the national guard would be left ). any nuclear weapons would also go bye-bye. plus i doubt that the NRC would be to keen on leaving any operational nuclear power plants behind. border patrol would have to be re-assembled ( and greatly expanded ). be curious to see how the FAA would handle that situation.

just a couple of fun thoughts off the top of my head.

Hopefully Texas. Cutting them off would raise the collective IQ of our country by a significant margin.

Hell, if they are serious about seceding, I'll go down and dig a moat along the border with my bare hands.
