In this case it's a very appropriate comparison. The abortion movement (actually an arm of the eugenics movement) inspired the Nazis, and Sanger (founder planned parenthood) praised the Nazis. And the reasons cited for justifying the abortions in this case is precisely the sort of thing the Nazis and other eugenicists would cite.
Really, so these guys are trying to just kill all the jewish babies now, huh? Grow up, you're not convincing anyone with your rhetoric.
People, get over yourselves. Abortion is legal, if that rankles you to the point that you cheer someone who kills a doctor who is performing a legal surgery, then I suggest you shut the hell up & get out of this country as quick as you can because abortion is going to stay legal for awhile & the more whining we hear about it, the less of an impact you make on us.

Eugenics, the Nazis weren't only into killing Jews, they were into eugenics. They wanted to get rid of anyone deemed imperfect, defected, undesirable, etc., and birth control/etc. was a large part of their program (along with euthanasia on the "useless" elderly). These programs were carried out against the German people along with those they controlled through their wars. Methinks you don't know much about the Nazis other than their anti-Jew actions.

Actually it appears the polls are shifting against abortion.

Methinks you're trying to frame an argument in the worst way imaginable.
There were clearly women that were at health risk if they carried the baby to term. Are these people and Tiller deplorable human beings for performing that operation under that case?
I read through the Kansas abortion law. It doesn't mention an exception for fetal defect after the cutoff (which is 21 weeks). Were these abortions performed under the "mental health of the woman" exception?

Again, should the woman in the article have been forced to carry the doomed fetus to term?
Google anencephaly and tell me you think a woman should be forced to carry to term in that case against her will.
Pure B.S. But all the eugenicist nazis will agree with that and paint him a saint the way Sanger painted the Nazis' programs as something to admire.
What planet was that on? Here on earth, Sanger was quite critical of the Nazis, and her books were in fact among the first that were banned in Germany. She encouraged strong, independent, free-thinking women. Not exactly what the Reich had in mind. Not exactly your cup of tea either, I'd guess...
